Every run flown at this stand is scored by PACE — Performance Assessment Continuous Evolution — against the standard briefed for the exercise: altitude, speed, targets. No instructor adjudicates in the room.

The score and the PASS or FAIL are two different things. To pass, a run has to do two things without exception: stay safe, and hit the target it was given. Miss either one and it fails, however well it flew otherwise. The score is counted separately: every run starts at 1000, and each mistake takes points off. That is why a high score can sit next to a FAIL.
